Hey there! We're prepping to release our first official demo of The Monster Next Door, and wanted to share some big changes you may see!

First of all, let's talk about Aparto. If you've played any of our early versions, you may be aware that Aparto is the app that let's you see the map of the apartment building and interact with other characters. One way we've overhauled the app is through the menu to select which character you'd like to see. Now you simply have to select their profile image to choose to visit that character. Much sleeker!

Now, one of our bigger changes with Aparto has to do with a new feature: community posts! If you select a speech bubble icon on the freetime menu, you can view social media posts made by the residents! See what they're up to, how they're feeling, or anything special they want to share, you may be surprised!

Finally, we've been working hard to implement all of our sprites for our official demo! Our characters have a lot of emotion and we've done our best to help them express this through a large variety of poses and emotes for them. We hope you enjoy seeing how they express themselves!
