Hey there everyone!

We thought it'd be nice to give you guys a small progress update on our game, The Monster Next Door!

The team has finished up several of the goals we've set for ourselves so far.  Character art is coming along great! The character concepts (which you can see in our first introduction post) are fully developed and the fun app icons for each character are complete as well.  Our artist is now moving on to expression and pose making for each of the characters! We can't wait for you guys to see what we have in store for you!

The line art for background images is also coming along great! It's just about finished unless we decide to add more fun destinations for you guys to visit in the future! 

As for right now we're in the first stages of coding our first working demo in Renpy! The overall prologue, and chapter one for each character are also finished! We'll be implementing sprites, backgrounds, and other assets as the week continues.  After that our goal will be to create chapters two and three for all of the pursuable characters.  Chapter 2 will allow you to get to know the characters on a much deeper level!  We are also beginning to dive into creating fun UI aspects for the game. Keep an eye out for future updates, but for now enjoy this short sneak peak of prologue script in Renpy!
